This button determines whether the attribute window text output is displayed just as pure data only or with additional information. By default, LEX shows as much information about the attributes as possible:

If you activated the pure output, then just the attribute data is displayed:
The Show only attribute names and values button is not available if the attribute window is in text output mode.
